Jota Jota is a local professional communication company in Brazil, founded in 2014,
mainly engaged in communication lighting. In November 2016,
Jota Jota and MM Architecture and Architecture provided
a feasible container office solution for client Alessandra.
The project is located in Santa Catarina State, Brazil, and the design involves many aspects,
from the appearance of the office to the lighting and supporting facilities,
everything is spared. The design team seeks an environmentally-friendly forward-looking design.
The most important thing is that the design should reflect the high efficiency of the building,
and obtain low-energy ecological building design through
the development and utilization of renewable resources.
In response to the fast-paced schedule and unchangeable budget,
the design team used existing second-hand shipping containers and
collected electricity and lighting through solid waste to complete the design.
The biggest challenge of the project is how to cleverly divide the joints
and wires of the space hydraulic hoses exposed on the surface of the container.
They chose to connect the internal environment of the container to the outside through pipeline facilities.
The interior is illuminated by different sizes and types of lighting,
using different lighting to cut and melt, and different spatial
combinations make the entire space rich and varied.
The European classical Dubai crystal lamp, which is the theme of the entire interior space,
can also be metaphorized and reproduced in the entire space presentation,
which also brings new reflections to the project. Through reasonable fusion treatment,
the original blunt industrial container also has a poetic soft and lyrical atmosphere.
