Introduction on Monday · container town
--Today's site: Holland--
There is never a lack of creativity in life, and there is never a lack of talent in the crowd. When a group of people who love industry, environmental protection and creativity gather together, they will open up a "new continent" - a small town for their own life, which is transformed from recycled containers and various items.
[plug in city] is a temporary village located in the middle of strijp-s in Eindhoven. It is used as a creative life laboratory, studio, activity place and cultural center. This "plug-in city" is organized and inhabited by a group of creative professionals, such as designers, architects, artists and other individuals, all known as "plug-ins".
Through the use of containers, old windows, solar panels and other second-hand materials, this small "city" is based on the principle of circular economy, and thus won the ABN AMRO circular economy award in 2017.
The appearance of "city" looks very mixed, and it feels like it is made up of different colors. But if you enter the room, you will be amazed by another clean environment. Open living room and tea room often save a lot of indoor space.
With the top terrace, the town has three floors. Its space utilization rate is very high, and the free space at the bottom of the stairs will be filled by the rest coffee table. Leading to the top floor, you will get a wide view, and the spacious location is also very suitable for holding small parties here.
