When you only have a limited number of containers, but want to create more space, how to achieve the goal? The project from Brazil [meius arquitetura restaurant] extends its view to the outside, occupying the remaining 210 square meters of land in the form of a triangle.

The architect of the project is meius arquitetura, and the restaurant is located in DOCA steak burger, pat deminas (mg). The project has two 40 foot high containers, which are vertically overlapped and connected by steel decks, creating an overhead floor and giving the restaurant a new space beyond the box.

The design of the structure is based on a hybrid structural logic consisting of heavy-duty steel profiles - the second floor slab and its roof, modules (containers), steel deck and conventional masonry systems. In the interior design, in order to weaken the rigid and industrial properties of containers, the materials that can provide greater comfort are selected for home decoration, such as installing warm light lamps, urban art decorations, harmonious color wood, etc.

Only a small number of areas are planned for hard service facilities, such as bars, kitchens, sanitary facilities and technical fields. Most of the rest is reserved for the dining table. Around the container building, the open seats are spread all over the container bottom and surrounding space, making the transition between the outside and the inside more smooth.

The toilet is set in one of the containers on the first floor. The whole mural is painted on the door, which brings strong visual impact. The interior is divided into two spaces according to gender, and the portraits on the wall bring a lot of street activity here.

The staircase is set in the middle of the dining room. The pedal is painted bright yellow. With the lighting on the ceiling, it has a distinct recognition and brings color jump to the space. From here, you can go to the second floor of the building.

The upper deck contains a second 40 foot container, which, in addition to a 10 foot container perimeter to provide support for the building, also provides space for a dining table and two bathrooms. On this large roofed balcony, the view is adjacent to the streets and public squares around the building and integrated with the surrounding environment.
