We have seen many container restaurants.
The second-floor structure generally has dining and leisure areas upstairs and downstairs,
which can expand the indoor space and provide high-altitude scenery appreciation.
However, some restaurants like to take unusual roads.
They will leave a container empty just to open a skylight on the first floor.
[Freight] is an exciting new restaurant located in a container building in C.S.
Lewis Square, East Belfast. This restaurant is composed of 4 containers,
with 3 black boxes at the bottom and 1 yellow box at the top,
which is "3+1", but it actually uses only 3 black boxes.
Have you found that after entering the door,
instead of the depressive feeling of the originally enclosed space of the container,
it is brighter and more spacious? That's because the bottom of the yellow
container on the top is actually connected to the restaurant space below,
so that the light from the top of the restaurant
will shine through the skylight. This design is novel and practical.
Although there is a skylight for brightening, it is not enough.
Therefore, there are also many floor-to-ceiling glass windows around
the dining area and the ordering bar on the first floor,
and some dining tables will be set along the windows to capture the outdoor scenery.
Jiajing with delicious food is a paradise on earth!
