Located in Seokmodo, Ganghwa-gun, the project was undertaken by the design group Tad Co., Ltd.
Described as a "hard container cafe", it is a 25-pyeong independent building built with shipping containers,
using a total of three containers. Most of the existing container buildings are square, but this cafe uses a bold scattered square structure,
customizing the diamond-shaped spatial structure to create a distinctive design.
Located behind the white building of the cafe, is an arch and fence made of red bricks, this place can be called the back door of the cafe,
which has a comfortable yard. Floors are tiled and all container modules are painted white for a minimalist design.
The open-air environment naturally produces appropriate sunlight and wind shadows, with rich architectural details.
There is a path connecting the internal and external environment beside the yard. It is set in the middle of two containers.
This interesting passage is blocked by the blue door. The refreshing color stands out in the environment.
All the elements combine together to form a lively cafe. And there is no dead space for activities.
In addition to having a chic outdoor courtyard, the cafe also has a viewing terrace on the second floor.
The design of the terrace is very simple, with only steel frames and railings.
When the sun goes down in the evening, it is a luxurious resort,
where you can enjoy the sunset of the West Sea not far away and the sunrise in the morning.
