[humble pie] is an unconventional restaurant in Seattle.
Why is it unconventional?
Because it is different from ordinary catering buildings,
this restaurant is made of the structure of wooden houses and containers.
It mainly sells delicious pizza.
The distinctive store brings you a new dining experience.
It's like a sudden transition from a wooden house to a container house.
On the whole, this pizza shop is an antique wooden house.
At the bottom is a wooden deck,
with a wooden side glass door pushed open from left to right,
with a slight Asian style.
In front of the door is an outdoor dining area surrounded by a wooden fence,
with newly sprouted plants.
The backyard of the restaurant is surrounded by an additional utility room
with a combination of iron mesh and wooden frame,
which expands the use area of the restaurant,
mainly for placing some kitchen utensils, sundries,
or keeping some poultry in captivity.
This "simple and crude" construction method also highlights
the randomness of container construction.
Entering the restaurant, you can clearly see
the real structure of the restaurant
and feel the atmosphere of the container industrial building.
The main body of the building is a gray container,
with the container as the center, the indoor dining area
built by the wooden shed is expanded outward.
In order to enhance the natural light in the room,
large-area glass windows are also used.
The interior of the gray container is used as the kitchen of the restaurant,
and a meal taking window is opened on the container to transfer dishes.
In order to increase the indoor dining table,
a simple bar is also built on the box wall with a long wooden board,
and a blackboard with menus is hung on the box wall.
