The container arts center (CATS) "specially selected" shashang "as the venue to

give regional elements to the containers screened out in the whole territory of South Korea.

Shashang Container Art Center has lost its image of an aging industrial zone,

In the city, it creates a cultural and artistic atmosphere full of sensibility and personality.

At first glance, it looks like a colorful warehouse,

which makes passers-by stop to appreciate it. So to speak,

The container Art Center highlights the characteristics of Busan,

a port city, and has become a striking landmark.

Shashang Container Art Center covers an area of 1624m2 and consists of two three-story buildings.

Among them, "lively building" is responsible for public performances and exhibitions,

while "oil painting building" is a veritable cultural space,

It has multicultural center, management office, writers' studio, etc.

The most fascinating are tailor-made studios and accommodation for writers,

The organizers hope to give young artists more space for inspiration through this unique environment.

As the main public performance venue, the "bustling building" is not large in scale,

but its internal facilities are not inferior to the general performance venue and exhibition hall.

This is a universal entertainment building,

providing public performances, exhibitions, lectures, seminars, film screenings, etc.

The biggest feature of the open and closed public arena with skylight is that

the space can be adjusted at will according to the actual needs, and it is natural lighting,

It caters to the emotional line of young artists who tend to create in other ways.

To create an effect that can also be enjoyed from the outside,

The whole building adopts full glass design,

and you can have a panoramic view of shashang station.

Currently, the Busan culture consortium is in charge of the operation of

the shashang Container Art Center, aiming to build a non mainstream sub culture cluster,

To provide performance space for the famous South Korean hip-hop dance group "B-Boy",

and to activate the University and youth culture at the same time,

Promote multicultural exchanges. The Art Center was completed in May 2013,

during which it was in trial operation stage and officially opened on July 12.
