If we want to talk about a "sea and sky feast" dedicated to container architecture,

the Kaohsiung International Container Art Festival in Taiwan must be counted as one.

The place where the experts gather can always make people feel the endless creative

and artistic atmosphere. But a successful work of art is not just a wild horse,

but also a practical support. For example, the seed ark,

which can integrate art into disaster shelter.

Designed by famous architect Wang Qizhen and built by Wang family architects,

the whole seed ark uses four containers to stack the space,

with a total area of about 97 square meters, with a length of 12m * width of 12m * height of 6.5m.

The container is placed at a certain angle to the middle top, which is similar to half a pyramid.

These containers are all recycled. They look rusty on the surface.

If you don't look at them carefully, they think they are scrap iron.

But the architect cleverly added a layer of special materials,

planting some plants on it, just like the "lace skirt" of the building.

Inside, it is a "tree of hope" surrounded by iron walls.

The original intention of the design is to create a disaster 、

shelter full of "Hope", and the tree is the hope of life.

The design concept around the tree is to trace back to the traditional life.

The tree is the place where people gather at first, where people communicate and communicate.

There are three elements in the ark that let people return to nature:

the sunlight from the top, the air flowing from the left and right,

and the water of life in the tree trunk.
