As a green and convenient travel tool, bicycles are the first choice for many people, but too many and lack of management will affect the beauty of the city. It would be great if they could be packed in a "container", such as this [Estação iBike] bicycle parking spot in Brazil.

The proposal to provide parking stands for iBike bicycles in containers stems from mobility. It is hoped that buildings that can be quickly assembled and disassembled can be built and placed and moved at fixed locations. This bright orange parking site is located at the Paraíso Metro Station next to São Paulo’s City Hall. It innovatively uses a semi-container as a custom wall and floor finish for the area to improve recognition.

Since the site continues to provide services to users, some humanized decorations have been added to the site. In addition to constructing toilets, the gypsum lining and walls in the box are covered with gypsum and rock wool as thermal and acoustic insulation materials, and are equipped with air conditioning and power input equipment to optimize the internal usable area.

The project retains the structure and finish of the container, and adjusts one side to 10mm tempered glass cuts and accessories to obtain natural light. The door and other components of the container remain in their original state. The internal floor is coated with lumpy glue. The bicycle rack is designed to hold 52 bicycles. Each specific rack can hold two bicycles. The design was developed by Tembici.
