[Mercato Comunale] is a unique space in the Bucharest landscape, used as a pop-up market and urban garden,
complete with co-working spaces, food trucks, local producers and more. To enrich community life,
the space also hosts a variety of cultural and social events, including concerts,
film screenings and exhibitions, and can accommodate approximately 400 people at the same time.
The project was transformed from a number of hollowed-out containers and the walls were replaced by transparent glass windows.
The basic color palette is bright silver and white, which enhances the sense of metal and fashion.
The community space creates a mix of indoor and outdoor event spaces,
providing an innovative meeting environment and recreation space for workers in Bucharest.
In the early days of Mercato's creation, the project team brought together the people of Bucharest through new tastes of new places,
food trucks, local products and craft beer. This gives local artisan producers an opportunity to showcase their products for sale,
and also makes it easy for the city's residents to find the quality products of these artisans.
This community space can have a positive impact on changing the face of the city as part of an urban beautification project.
This friendly team of 8 is one of the highlights of the project, which is adjusted daily based on public preferences and feedback.
It's a constantly evolving project, with new themes changing every year and more interesting things being added all the time.
