There are many container constructions, but not many have obtained professional certification. One of the most valuable certifications is the sustainable seal certification of the domestic model from the GBC Brazil, which is the reference certification for sustainable construction. The first building to receive this certification is the [White Fascination Container House] in Curitiba.
The house built from scratch on Butiatuvinha (Estrada ngelo Pianaro, 1.631) in Curitiba has an area of 375 square meters. This building is a building for exhibitions, called "Container Exhibition", taking 21 environments signed by more than 30 professionals as an example to illustrate how to design a two-story building under the concept of sustainability and environmental awareness houses.
In addition to reusing the container structure for sea cargo transportation, the building also uses a steel frame structure. Compared with masonry construction, its execution speed is faster and less waste is another construction method. This house has been installed with photovoltaic panels, which can generate more than 20% of the electricity used by the house, and has sufficient natural light and more energy-efficient lamps.
The residence displays a variety of different bedroom designs, including a luxurious master bedroom, a refined second bedroom, and a multi-bed children's room. At the same time, it is also equipped with different bathroom designs, from a large independent shower space to a corridor-style design, as well as a laundry room to meet different life preferences and habits.
The highlight of the dining room and living room is the width, signed by artist Tatiana Hultmann Stavitzki, engineer Nazaré Alves, designer Jonathan Cardozo, architect Priscila Ferstemberg and designer MaurenBuest. It uses neutral tones and combines the ingenuity of artwork and design with the sturdiness of the container. The open door of the container invades the space at the second level. Automatic lighting allows setting different scenes, while the grand European-style fireplace brings warmth to the space.
The garden has a unique zen space, and architect Luiz Maingué brought Espaço Zen an environment of contemplation and escape from the stress of daily life. Inspired by the Japanese garden, he explored the contrast between black, white and green vegetation. Another highlight of the space is the 4 Michael vertical water tank that can collect rainwater and redistribute it for home use. An automated irrigation system can ensure the health and beauty of plants.
