Circle, as a pure geometric form, has been used in various arts in the development of human society. In the field of architectural art, it has its place. But why is the circular window, which is very common in ancient garden architecture, so rare in modern architecture?

The most obvious point is that for modern buildings, rectangular windows are easier to construct, that is, lower construction costs. Secondly, the manufacturing and installation cost of the round window, and finally the user's replacement and maintenance cost for the circular window in the process of housing use should be considered. Therefore, real estate developers will not ignore the cost of building round windows for residential buildings, so this is why you do not have round windows.

But will human wisdom stop there? Since it is the limitation of construction materials, it is not good for us to change a kind of building materials? The solid structure of the container can completely forget about the window shape. The container werk, which was displayed in Milan design week, is the main character of this time. It consists of two exhibition centers. The first is a 40 foot long container placed on the ground, and the other exhibition apartment is on the top of the ground. There are other container buildings nearby for other purposes.

Another highlight of this showroom is its thermal insulation design, invented by Containerwerk Ivan Mallinowski, a special foam insulation material on the container wall. Because of the high insulation efficiency of the foam, the thickness of the wall is only 10 centimeters.

Take a look at the interior of the container display apartment. On the first floor, there is an independent suite. The simple kitchen, the living room by the window, and the bed hidden behind the rotating mirror make full use of every inch of the container space. Open the door on the side of the container and you will have a balcony.

Then there is another suite on the second floor, which is actually a spacious space composed of two spliced containers. The original box door was replaced by floor glass, forming an excellent platform for viewing.

The living room also has round windows. And there are more than one, connecting the view outside the front and back of the display cabinet. The most romantic part of the night is to embrace the sky!
