In order to promote the importance of renewable energy and the development of life,
society and industry, as the world is facing the situation of warming and energy shortage,
A university in Taiwan built a "white energy house" with the support of the Ministry of Education,
and its novel appearance has become a new popular check-in spot for students and nearby residents.
Implement energy technology in home life, so that people can visit the actual site
and experience first-hand how electricity is generated at home and how to save energy.
Located on the campus of Central University in Taoyuan City,
the [White Energy House] consists of two 20-foot containers.
Based on the concept of a 2-person house, a home environment is created,
so that people are no longer just listening to "energy saving" but have no idea how to do it.
Instead, you can see how electricity is stored, what equipment can be used to save electricity,
and truly feel the production process of daily electricity consumption.
In the indoor space of about 18 pings, a total of 24 guides assist in the on-site explanation,
as a demonstration site for local primary and secondary schools and the public to promote energy education.
The roof of the [White Energy House] uses solar photovoltaics to create energy,
and then uses lithium battery and fuel cell technology to store energy,
energy monitoring systems, smart air conditioners, smart lighting systems and high-efficiency building materials.
Air conditioning and lighting in general homes account for about 50% of the total electricity consumption,
while the [white energy house] can save energy up to 20%.
