Lighting is very important for a house.
A house with good lighting effect will not only make people look comfortable, but also live more comfortably.
When there is sufficient light, the room will be bright, and when there is frequent sunlight,
all kinds of bacteria can be reduced, and people will be healthier.
On the contrary, houses with poor lighting are often darker,
and the mentality of those living in the house will also be affected.
Therefore, in order to achieve a good lighting effect,
some people do not hesitate to spend four containers to build large-scale "four-grid" floor-to-ceiling windows.
The New York-based architectural firm [MB Architecture] is responsible for the project,
and the proposed site is a triangular-shaped lot on high ground, at a wooded corner.
The home has a large outdoor space enough to accommodate a swimming pool and lawn.
At the same time, its high altitude also provides beautiful views and plenty of natural light.
The modular container building was installed in two days, and all the furnishing was completed in two months.
Located in Amagansett, East Hampton, Long Island, the designers used four 40-by-8-foot shipping
containers to construct the living room portion of the building, two side by side and two stacked on top,
and then opened up the interior to sculpt it into a more The large space looks like a "four-square grid" from the outside.
At the same time, a wide staircase was installed in the middle of the house, occupying the width of a single shipping container.
