One of the purposes of building container buildings is to minimize
the local impact of the building, especially near some scenic spots or national parks.
Among them, the design of "elevating" the building can minimize the contact surface with the ground,
so as to achieve the effect of reducing the impact on the surrounding environment.
[Cambará Container House] is located on an amazing grassland landscape
in the Cambará do Sul region of Brazil, with two national parks nearby.
The single home consists of two 20-foot shipping container units with a design inspired by minimalism.
These container units are comfortable accommodations crafted by local company Mégui Dal Bó Arquiteta.
The area of each container house is only 34 square meters,
and the space layout is very compact.
Except for the bathroom, which has a separate space,
the rest of the kitchen, dining room, lounge area and bedroom
are shared in the same space, maximizing the scope of continuous activities.
Functional areas such as the kitchen and bathroom are close to
the entrance of the house, while the rest area and bedroom are close to the
viewing platform, which ensures the location advantage of fully enjoying the scenery during the rest time.
Each house can accommodate up to 4 guests, including double beds and sofa beds.
Even if the space is not very spacious, the environment is simple and comfortable.
Inspired by the beautiful surrounding scenery, the architect cleverly used
the container revolving door to design the viewing balcony and the flat top terrace.
Outdoor deck. This design allows each container house to have two great outdoor spaces,
promoting a strong connection between the inside and the outside.
