Vanuatu is a very magical place.

Although it is one of the least developed countries in the world,

it has twice been voted the happiest place on earth.

Its capital, Port Vila, is a famous tourist destination.

The entire city is almost covered by forests, like a large garden.

There is a $99/night B&B in the forest that is very popular with tourists and is transformed from shipping containers.

The B&B named 【Coco Cabana】is located on 1000 square meters

of land in Pango Village, just a few steps away from the white sands of Honeymoon Beach.

This unique shipping container home has been meticulously designed

with upholstery materials sourced and manufactured in Vanuatu wherever possible

to support the rural family, so you'll see lots of wood furniture, linen and ethnic ornaments and more.

A wooden shed is created on the top of the container,

which provides a spacious sheltering space for the front courtyard of the house.

For this reason, the owner directly moved the sofa and dining table here,

freeing up the narrow space in the container, which is more conducive to comfortable outdoor activities.

Entering from the main entrance, the first is a bar with a refrigerator

and a washing machine "hidden" in the lower part, and a kettle and a toaster are placed on it.

This simple bar is just the right height for some simple meal preparations,

and has pergola for drinks and cups beside it.

You can take a morning stroll in the surrounding tropical gardens,

through lush palm trees, and bring home your own handpicked papaya for breakfast.

There is an entrance on the back of the bar,

which leads to a colorful bathroom.

The pure white bathtub is placed on the small tile floor,

making you seem to bathe in the midst of flowers.

There is also a colorful painting of coconut trees hanging on the wall,

which is very prominent on the white wall.

The design of the master bedroom is also full of the atmosphere of the rainforest,

with murals and wallpapers as the finishing touch.

The pure white base color of the whole house brings a lot of cleanliness,

and a skylight beside the bed adds a lot of natural light to the interior.

The second bedroom is on the back of the main bedroom, which is separated by a wall.

A bunk bed is placed here,

adding a bed that can accommodate both occupants.

Although the decoration is not as good as the master bedroom,

the wind chimes and burlap bags hanging on the wall still show the ethnic customs here.

There is also a large steel shelf next to it,

which is used to store various sundries in the house.
