Our common houses adopt the structure of "total score",

first build a large total space, and then divide it into different small living functional areas.

But have you ever thought that we can actually skip the "total"

and directly "divide" it into independent living functional areas

Such a design might make their environment cleaner.

This is a container house located in Barão de São Miguel, Algarve, Portugal.

Its structure is very unique. It is composed of two containers that are side by side but not spliced together,

and are only connected by a small bridge made of wooden boards.

The interior of the container has been thickened with

solid wood plywood to ensure the indoor thermal insulation effect.

Each container measures 40 feet, creating a total of 48 square meters of living space.

This split-type structure separates the kitchen and study of the house,

allowing one to meet physical needs and the other to meet psychological needs.

The two independent spaces can see each other through the "bridge"

compartment in the middle, and the house under the stars is intoxicating.

The first is the very compact structure design on the kitchen side.

The entrance is the dining table.

There is a hidden wall cabinet on the back wall.

The table is full of exquisite small potted plants,

and the sun can just shine through the glass window.

Next up is an open-plan kitchen, where the wall above

the stove has been replaced with tile for easy daily cleaning.

Going further inside, next to the kitchen is a closed space surrounded by wooden plywood,

which hides the laundry room and the integrated dry toilet, which exists to save water and protect the environment.

Additionally, the space is attached to a large latticed wall cabinet for clothing and sundries.

Another container is the design of the study and lounge.

When you enter the door, you can see a simple bookshelf hanging on the wall of the box.

Two triple-glazed and highly insulated panoramic windows

are installed on one end of the box, and custom-sized sofa chairs

are embedded to create a bay window effect, and it is so comfortable to bask in the sun!

In addition to the panoramic window design, this lounge has a strip window

that runs the length of the bed, allowing you to enjoy views of the outdoors no matter where you sleep.

And under this bed is actually a locker, and there is a heating

fireplace design beside it, which is a well-equipped interior design.

The warm and natural wood color used throughout the house has a positive

effect on the mental state, calms the nervous system and creates friendly conditions for recreation.

Finally there is a bathroom that "lives in the slits",

with high-quality and space-saving interiors that compensate for the contrast of small spaces.

Although such a split structure design does not seem practical, in fact,

it can not only ensure better cooking in the kitchen space,

but also ensure that the study space can be protected from oil smoke damage.

In fact, the split On the contrary, the structure can

make the environment cleaner and the space utilization more scientific!
