Thanks to its proximity to leisure and entertainment venues, the hotel appeals to a variety of recipient groups,
as well as those looking for a non-trivial architectural form. The unusual hotel,
undertaken by the Scandinavian Maritime Company, was constructed from 40 steel shipping containers,
the architect's imagination turning the cuboid of steel into a massive structure.
As assured by its creators, Scandinavian Ocean Hotel has remained true to the designer's style,
the containers are arranged in different heights and connected with steel platforms and stairs,
while coloured in bright colours such as purple , yellow, black and canary green to paint.
The project is the first container hotel in Poland. At this time, there are many similar facilities in the world.
The use of containers in construction has also been supported many years ago and is often used for the construction of single-family or temporary houses,
small gazebos and public facilities.
The biggest highlight of the project is the design of its regenerative building,
and its creators take pride in creating facilities using materials that are recyclable and less polluting to the environment.
Furthermore, the accommodation is very popular among guests due to its originality and offering solutions not found in traditional buildings.
All living spaces are integrated in containers, each independent container building has two units up and down,
each air-conditioned room can accommodate 2 to 6 people, at the same time, each suite has a living space,
a bedroom and a bathroom. The hotel area consists of reception kiosks (also made of containers),
a beach with bars, playgrounds, volleyball courts, etc.,
which together constitute a living and entertainment environment.
