Since the development of container building,

it has become "the strongest building except for pouring concrete",

and it is more efficient and sustainable than concrete building.

More and more people are willing to buy original containers

and transform them into their favorite ones. look.

The Alabama couple designed and built their home using four 40-foot shipping containers.

The containers all came from a port in Miami,

and in addition to the four used to build the house,

there was a fifth container next to it for storage.

The house covers an area of 185 square meters,

and the entire house sits atop just eight steel columns,

with footings buried in concrete.

The overhead level between the house and the ground creates a garage

where flowers and plants can be grown.

The entrance to the home is at the rear, via a long wooden corridor.

When you open the door, you can see a dazzling array of photos.

These are the memory photos of the owner and his wife,

which instantly fills the space with a warm taste.

A further flight of stairs leads to the living areas,

the spaces covered with photo walls that hide the home's "switchboard".

The living room is an open space with a long wooden table for dining.

The walls in the living room are finished with stained plywood

where the corrugated panels meet, including the door frames.

A few cheap clip lights on the ceiling join together to

create industrial lighting in the living room.

There are also ceiling fireplaces repurposed from

old propane tanks to warm up the environment in winter.

The kitchen is located in one corner of the home

and is equipped with various appliances and cooking utensils.

The ceiling and one of the walls retain the original shape of the corrugated panels,

adding a lot of industrial elements to the space.

It is worth mentioning that the kitchen counter is raised,

which makes it more comfortable to use than ordinary counters.

The design of the master bedroom is more retro,

the walls are treated with tiles,

and the floor is also laid with wooden boards,

but the wave board on the ceiling can still feel the existence of industrial elements.

The master bedroom is also equipped with a matching bathroom,

and the space is very spacious.

There are two sinks alone. The bathrooms are separated by curtains.

The walls and floors are covered with tiles to prevent moisture and non-slip.

In addition, there is a guest room in the residence for entertaining visiting family and friends.

The guest room is not as large as the master bedroom, but it is also very comfortable.

The space of the matching bathroom is also relatively compact,

and only a bathroom partition is created between the bathroom and the bathroom.
