Pension is a major problem in social development.

How to deal with the rapidly aging population is a problem

that all walks of life need to pay attention to, and it is also a great opportunity.

From the perspective of the construction industry,

the construction of economical and comfortable nursing homes

is an unavoidable problem. Is it feasible to use modular buildings?

As you can see, since containers can be used to build durable and stable permanent structures,

they can also be used to build nursing homes without losing any concrete.

This is [Ever Orange House and Pension] from Yongin, South Korea.

It is a nursing home built in a residential area near Yongin Everland.

The project cost a total of eight containers, the size of 6 40HQ and 2 20HQ.

Its hallmark is bright orange all over, with a bit of grey next to it.

Exposed outside the building is a container wave board with industrial characteristics.

This building material instantly increases the fashion sense of the nursing home.

Half of the space on the ground floor is used as a parking lot,

and the other half is a room for the nursing staff.

Go up along the iron ladder in the middle of

the building to reach the second floor.

A total of 4 rooms are built on this floor for the elderly,

and all interior spaces are insulated and insulated with foam.

All four rooms use open container doors to

create individual balconies with views and sunlight.

Entering the space inside the box,

the design of large windows will make the environment very bright,

which is beneficial to the physical and mental health of the elderly.

The design and layout of each room are basically the same,

except that the orientation of the furnishings is slightly different.

Each separate living space contains a small living room with a TV,

an open-plan kitchen, a bed recessed into the small space, and a fully tiled bathroom.

I seem to find different layout styles for the same space here...

In addition, there is an open-air platform naturally

formed by the container at the top of the building.

Going up from the iron ladder, the ground here

has been laid with dry wooden floors, and there are many long tables for rest.

Here, you can have dinner, chat, and sunbathe,

which is very suitable for a group of people to live comfortably in their later years.
