It is only half an hour away from downtown Barcelona

 and hidden in the environment surrounded

by trees at the foot of monseni natural park.

This modular house close to nature is a "social refuge" away from

the noise of the city and enjoying tranquility after work.

The challenge of building this house is to overcome the non-uniformity of the plot,

which can be achieved by using modular metal substructures.

This design makes one third of the modules suspended on the hillside,

and increases the space for outdoor activities

and viewing by creating a half meter wide terrace.

This independent house is composed of three 40 foot modules,

with a single floor of about 90 square meters.

There is an integrated living room kitchen, two bedrooms,

two bathrooms, dressing room and laundry room.

Given the terrain of the plot, each structure of the house

can try to fit perfectly with the wooded environment.

The outer wall of the house is covered with brown craft wooden strips,

so that the house can integrate with the surrounding environment.

The simple oak artificial composite floor is laid inside the house,

which brings comfort and modernity to the house.

A corner wood burning fireplace is integrated

next to the window to heat the house in cold winter.

You can enjoy the winter sunset near the living room window near the stove.

The open kitchen and living room are divided into the same space,

a pure white bar defines the kitchen area,

and a large panoramic French window can lead to the terrace.

In order to provide enough storage space,

 a series of cabinets are reserved in the living room

and the storage room for the machine room,

and the master bedroom is equipped with a bathroom and dressing room.
