How to build a container house into a building integrated with nature

is the topic of sustainable development exploration.

The MAC & a ham house, located at 49 sukhunyi Road, Bangkok,

has proved the possibility of harmony and unity with itself.

The house is a steel structure,

the upper shelf is designed as a steel folding wheel,

and the containers on both sides are black,

so it looks integrated with the green garden and teak floor terrace.

In the lush atmosphere of peace and tranquility,

this house is located in the center of the city like Thonglor.

The house itself is characterized by

the use of black transport containers as houses and studios,

with a total area of 435 square meters.

The architect is wallasia Ltd.

The entrance of the house has teak floors,

concrete slabs, garden sidewalks with large gravel inserts, etc.,

connecting the garden with the stairs of the house.

There is a hole on the roof of the garage in the garden,

which can let the trees grow through the second floor

and play a supporting role at the same time.

The house has a panoramic view of the natural scenery of

the tropical garden through the construction of connected terraces and entrances.

The details of the garden are reflected in the hollowed out floor

in order to accommodate the growth of trees, the fence on the wall of the canopy,

and the rain proof solid canvas on the steel structure terrace,

which makes it harmonious with the surrounding green leaves,

while protecting privacy and shade.

The entrance of the house is formed by a ramp rising from the ground. In front of the fence,

you can see a container pavilion with a garden connecting the two-story house,

which is a container house in a tropical courtyard.

The front of the container house is designed to be higher than the ground,

and each living function area is clearly divided,

which is only connected by the front porch.

When entering the house, follow the principle of openness,

and all living spaces are arranged in a ventilated environment.

From the living area, dining area to the kitchen at the end,

all available areas are sorted vertically.

There is also an opening through the second floor in the middle of the house,

which is used for air circulation and connecting the scenery at the top.

The steel storage rack under the stairs creates additional storage space.

As the reinforcement of the railing,

it is the perfect combination of wood and metal.

The top of the stairs on the second floor is a skylight,

which can expose the sky on a sunny day and live in harmony with the trees;

When you don't need it,

you can close the curtains to keep cool.

Most of the trees in the house

have been planted for 3-4 years, so they are very strong.

The construction company in charge of the housing project

already has professional knowledge of garden design.

Therefore, by connecting the terrace and the opening,

we try to combine everything including the garden,

the iron room and the studio, and integrate the essence of the tropical garden into every view,

so that residents can see the green space through the window,

whether sitting in front of the house or walking near the treetop on the second floor,

It feels like a house with a rosewood and green garden.

The starting point of the house is to expand the space

from the main building to build an office space,

adjust the concept by lifting the container and using it as a front Pavilion,

and use other containers as its predecessor.

The last one is the container connected to the bottom floor,

which is a service area and a maid's room.

The container on the upper floor is a studio.
