When it comes to Nordic style,
everyone is familiar with the minimalist style
that leans towards IKEA. But in fact,
the real name of this style is not Nordic style, but "Scandinavian style".
It is a modern style that emerged between World War I and World War II,
mainly emphasizing the combination of ideas and culture,
and emphasizing humanities.
Scandinavian design was the most eye-catching design of the mid-1940s,
and now it is perfectly interpreted in the Kollektiv Hotel.
The Kollektiv Hotel combines elements of wood and iron,
using containers as living spaces to create a pure industrial design atmosphere.
Many tall plants are planted around the building,
giving life to the lifeless iron box.
This natural element is suitable for combining with
the container walls painted with cream brown.
On the first floor of the building is the Hara restaurant,
which offers a variety of delicious food and a comfortable environment.
The rest area is wrapped in a rural style industrial interior.
The restaurant is open to the public, with a spacious space
and an outdoor rest area and greenhouse.
A greenhouse is a transparent glass house located outside the building.
The hotel's guest rooms are located on
the second to fourth floors of the building, with a total of 39 rooms.
The corridor is decorated with railings and vines,
and the large space in the middle of
the building can see the rest area on the ground floor,
which is also the dining area of Hara Restaurant.
The public space is designed in an industrial style,
while the guest rooms reflect a more Scandinavian medieval style.
In the room, due to limited space,
the sink is located outside the bathroom,
extending from a slender wooden board to the counter and bathroom glass wall.
The window facing west and unique rolling curtains
provide a strong natural lighting effect for the room.
The mattress is placed on a seemingly "floating" wooden platform,
with no bedside table in the middle or sides,
and only two down lights illuminate the bed area.
The layout of another suite also
follows the Scandinavian or medieval style,
but with an additional living room and workbench,
making the environment more comfortable.
Thick wooden boards installed on walls can be directly used as tables.
Even the suite is not equipped with a wardrobe,
but rather several hangers are hung on the hanger for hanging clothes.
