The use of containers to transform old communities is very common in today's urbanization development,
especially in island countries and other places with high building density.
The [Craft Village NISHIKOYAMA] community project located in front of
Nishikinyama Station on the Tokyu Meguro Line is operated by PA Co., Ltd.,
and the builder [UR Urban Renaissance Agency] leases land for urban development and
develops It was transformed into a place for local town development and creation of prosperity.
The total construction area of the [Craft Village NISHIKOYAMA] project is about 1,604 square meters,
the east wing structure area is about 135 square meters,
and the main building area is about 192 square meters. It is mainly constructed with steel structure,
and some of it is steel frame reinforced concrete structure.
The facility has a variety of unique tenants and provides an open space where
people can gather in the space on the roof terrace and the central courtyard.
The goal of the project is to build a new exchange base to be used as a
shopping center and event organization place near the residential
area to enrich the gathering methods of nearby residents. The activity center promotes a business model
called N to N (from neighbor to neighbor). People can buy handmade cakes and sweets from neighbors,
and they can also sell their own products to neighbors,
creating a community A platform for residents to talk and interact with each other.
The tenants of the activity center are adhering to the concept of selling
"unique mass-produced products of non-scale production", with unique flavors of craft beer,
healthy hand-made drinks, creative dishes with chef personality, etc.,
which are created for tourists An experience where you can find new and interesting
food and drinks no matter when you come or how many times you come.
The community activity center not only uses recycled containers for renovation,
but also follows the concept of sustainable development in daily life,
such as reducing the use of disposable plates and chopsticks as much as possible in business activities,
and replacing it with paper and other renewable materials. Since it is used as a place for public activities,
various activities and seminars can be held as needed to create a lively atmosphere in the community.
The ground floor is mainly used as business space, and the top of the building is
built with a wooden deck and terrace seats for people to relax, talk, and remotely work.
