"It's really much warmer!" On December 25th, at the B2 entrance of Shahe Station in beijing subway changping line, passenger Ms. Cui entered the station through a corridor connected by containers. There was an air conditioner every few steps in the corridor, and the warm wind made the queue outside the station no longer unbearable. According to the introduction of Beijing Metro Company, since December 21st, Shahe Station and Tiantongyuan Station of Beijing Metro have started to use warm-keeping facilities outside the stations to provide a more comfortable environment for passengers to wait.

At the B2 exit of Shahe subway station, the reporter of Beiqing Daily saw that next to the subway station, a canopy-like greenhouse has been built, and wind-proof curtain walls have been installed in all directions of the greenhouse, and the cold wind outside the station can hardly be felt in the greenhouse. At the B1 port of Shahe Station, 22 containers have been transformed to form a 150-meter-long corridor, through which passengers can pass in both directions, realizing the entrance and exit. In the corridor, 12 air conditioners are turned on at the same time, and you can obviously feel the warmth when you come in from the outside.

Shahe subway station is a big passenger station. According to Wei Hongwei, the head of Nanshao Station of Beijing Metro Operation Company No.4, the daily average passenger flow at Shahe Station is about 100,000, of which about 26,000 people enter the station in the morning rush hour. At the rush hour from 7: 30 to 8: 10 in the morning, it is necessary to take current limiting measures, and passengers have to queue up outside the station to enter the station, which is very cold. "In the extremely cold weather last week, we conducted a test. After installing the corridor, when the outdoor temperature was MINUS 12 degrees, the temperature of the corridor was around zero, which was much warmer." Ms Cui often stops at Shahe Station and takes the changping line to go to work in Xi 'erqi. According to her, it usually takes about half an hour to queue up at the peak, and it is much warmer with the corridor, which is praised by the subway company.

Recently, Beijing has entered a cold wave weather. In order to provide a warmer and more comfortable ride environment for the passengers, the subway company organized efforts to study the passenger waiting situation at changping line Shahe Station and Tiantongyuan Station of Line 5, and the related facilities outside the station, designed the project of installing waiting warm facilities, and actively promoted the construction. The warm-keeping facilities outside the two stations were put into use on December 21st.

In July this year, Shahe Station has installed rain-proof snow sheds at three entrances and exits. Among them, B1 rainproof snow shed can accommodate 460 people, B2 rainproof snow shed can accommodate 100 people, and A2 rainproof snow shed can accommodate 500 people. On this basis, in order to provide a warm waiting environment for more passengers, the station added 400 square meters of wind-proof curtain wall around the rain-proof snow shed outside the B1 port, and set up a temporary container passage with a length of 150 meters and air conditioning equipment outside the B2 port.

The average daily passenger flow of Tiantongyuan Station on Line 5 is about 40,000 passengers. After many field investigations and discussions in the early stage, the company added 20 transparent windbreaks outside the entrance A, and installed windbreaks in two rainproof snow sheds outside the entrance B, totaling 305 square meters, to form a waiting greenhouse to block the cold air. The company will continue to add heating equipment in this area.
Recently, other stations under the jurisdiction of Beijing Metro Company have also introduced targeted cold protection measures in light of the actual situation. For example, the station management center of the Capital Airport Line turns on the heating equipment in the waiting hall of Terminal 3 of the Capital Airport Line 30 minutes before the daily operation. On Line 13, Longze Station and Huilongguan Station installed cabinet air conditioners in the security hall to raise the indoor temperature. At the same time, it is arranged to turn on the air conditioning and electric heating equipment in advance before the trains on the ground and overhead lines leave the warehouse.
