Chenglingji is the No.1 port in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, one of the "Eight Good Ports of the Yangtze River", a national first-class water port, a comprehensive hub port for multimodal transport and trunk-branch links in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, and the largest inland port in China. The cooperation between the two places to open this route will give full play to the connecting role of the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, continue to promote the river-sea combined transport and water-water transfer business, accelerate the two-way aggregation of goods in the hinterland, and open up a new "double-cycle" channel for the container supply of Central China to the sea and East China to the west. It is reported that the flight density of this route is once every two weeks, and it will be encrypted in time according to the route operation and supply organization in the later period.
