Recently, two "Yi-Xin-Europe" China-Europe freight trains loaded with 100 TEUs of small commodities and hardware departed from the Zhejiang Yiwu Railway Port Freight Yard and the Jinhua East China International Transport Port respectively, bound for Madrid, Spain and five Central Asian countries. So far, Hangzhou Customs has supervised the cumulative import and export containers of the "Yi-Xin-Europe" China-Europe train this year to exceed 188,000 TEUs, exceeding the total in 2022.

In addition to the volume of import and export standard containers exceeding last year, the commodities transported by trains are also changing quietly: on the one hand, there are more and more high value-added commodities, such as solar photovoltaic panels, complete automobiles and spare parts, especially electronic equipment such as mobile phones, which have become The trains transport popular goods; on the other hand, the sources of goods on the trains are becoming increasingly diversified, and the scope of radiation has gradually expanded from Yiwu to other areas in Zhejiang Province, and even Shanghai, Fujian, Guangdong and other places.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the joint construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative. Since its first launch from Yiwu in November 2014, the "Yixin-Europe" China-Europe freight train has become a landmark project for Zhejiang to actively integrate into the "Belt and Road" construction. As of now, the train has opened 25 routes, covering more than 50 countries and regions. regions, reaching 160 cities.
Traveling across the Eurasian continent, today, the "Yixin-Europe" China-Europe freight train is not only a transportation channel, but also an important trade channel. In the first 11 months of 2023, Hangzhou Customs supervised the import and export goods of the "Yi-Xin-Europe" China-Europe trains worth 45.46 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.3%.
In order to promote the high-quality development of the "Yi-Xin-Europe" China-Europe freight train, Hangzhou Customs has opened a "green channel" for freight train customs clearance, and implemented convenient measures such as "7×24 hours appointment clearance" and "delayed and staggered services" to further simplify customs transfer procedures. , realize automatic customs transfer for China-Europe train exports, and improve the turnover efficiency and customs clearance efficiency of regulatory sites. At the same time, we will actively implement the "Intelligent Customs Clearance" initiative, promote the implementation of preferential policies such as "rapid railway customs clearance", and improve the level of cross-border trade facilitation.
