Wang Danwen, manager of the Quanzhou Branch of Xiamen COSCO Shipping Containers Co., Ltd., said: “With the full support of the customs, we have newly opened up the same vessel domestic and foreign trade export business in Shihu Port Area and Jiangyin Port Area, and the domestic foreign trade branch line transit export business, so that Fuzhou goods can pass through Quanzhou Port RCEP. The new route is shipped to countries under the Belt and Road Initiative, opening up a new way to expand Quanzhou Port's foreign trade logistics."
It is understood that since the opening of the same ship domestic and foreign trade and domestic branch line transit export business between Shihu Port Area and Jiangyin Port Area on July 1, 2023, by the end of 2023, Quanzhou Customs will jointly supervise transit exports through Shihu Port Area There are 1,887 TEUs of Southeast Asian goods with a value of US$154 million. In 2023, Quanzhou Customs supervised a total of 96,000 TEUs of foreign trade containers in Shihu Port Area, a year-on-year increase of 13.65% and a record high.
