Yesterday (January 8), the 16,000 TEU container ship built by CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for Mediterranean Shipping Company was officially delivered. This is the first ship delivered by Tianjin Port this year, and also the first export leasing ship of "Tianjin Capital" + "Tianjin Manufacturing".
The "MSC ANITA" delivered this time was ordered by Minsheng Financial Leasing from CSSC (Tianjin) Company based on the needs of the internationally renowned liner company Mediterranean Shipping Company. According to Xu Wenfu, deputy general manager of CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., the ship has a total length of about 366 meters, a molded width of 51 meters, and a molded depth of 30.2 meters. It can carry 16,520 standard containers and 1,800 refrigerated containers.
