1. Ordinary containers: Also known as dry cargo containers, they are mainly used to ship groceries. They are usually used to ship stationery, daily necessities, medicine, textiles, handicrafts, chemical products, Wujinjiaodian, electronic machinery, instruments and machine parts, etc. This type of container accounts for 70~80% of the total number of containers.

2. Refrigerated containers: divided into two types: external and built-in. The temperature can be adjusted between -28℃ ~ +26℃. The built-in container can start the freezer at will during transportation to keep the container at the specified temperature; while the external container must rely on the freezers equipped on special container vehicles, ships, and special yards and stations for refrigeration. This kind of box is suitable for transporting butter, chocolate, frozen fish, condensed milk, margarine and other items in summer.
3. Open-top container: This type of container has no roof. A crane can be used to load and unload cargo from the top of the container. The top is covered with a tarpaulin during shipment. Its watertight requirements are the same as those of dry cargo containers. Suitable for loading tall objects such as glass panels.
4. Frame container: There is no roof or sides, and its characteristic is that loading and unloading are from the sides of the container. Mainly carrying overweight cargo, it is also convenient for loading livestock, as well as bare cargo such as steel that can be loaded without external packaging.
5. Livestock container: This kind of box uses metal mesh on the side, which has good ventilation and is easy to feed. It is a special container specially manufactured for shipping cattle, horses and other live animals.
6. Tank container: also known as liquid container. It is a special container manufactured for transporting liquid goods such as food, medicine, chemicals, etc. Its structure consists of a liquid tank fixed within a metal frame.
7. Platform container: similar in shape to a railway flat car, suitable for loading overweight and long cargo, with a length of more than 6 meters, a width of more than 4 meters, a height of about 4.5 meters, and a weight of up to 40 metric tons. Moreover, two platform containers can be connected to hold 80 metric tons of cargo. It is extremely convenient to use this kind of box to transport cars.
8. Ventilated container: There are ventilation holes on the wall of the container, and the inner wall is coated with a plastic layer. It is suitable for loading fresh vegetables and fruits and other goods that are afraid of heat and stuffiness.
9. Insulated container: There is a heat insulation layer inside the box, and there are air inlets and outlets on the top of the box that can adjust the angle. The outside air and wind direction can be used to adjust the temperature inside the box. When closed tightly, it can not be affected by the outside temperature for a certain period of time. Suitable for shipping goods that are sensitive to temperature and humidity.
10. Bulk containers are generally equipped with 2 to 3 small hatches on the top to facilitate loading. There is a lifting frame at the bottom, which can be raised to a 40° tilt angle for easy unloading. This kind of box is suitable for storing bulk goods such as grain and cement. If plant quarantine is required, it can also be steamed and washed in the fumigation cabin.
11. Bulk powder cargo container: basically the same as a bulk container, but nozzles and suction pipes are used during loading and unloading.
12. Hanging container: A container suitable for shipping clothing products. With the development of international trade, the commodity structure continues to change, and various types of special or multi-purpose containers will appear in the future.
