1. Rust removal and substrate surface cleaning:
Clean the rust, old paint film, oil, dust and other debris from the container mobile house to be painted. Use a dry brush, clean rag or compressed air to clean the dust on the steel surface before painting.
2. Primer coating:
Two solvent-based epoxy zinc-rich primers with a film thickness of 80m. Clean dust and paint primer no more than 4-6 hours after cleaning the substrate surface. Control the viscosity, consistency and thickness of the paint, and stir thoroughly when mixing to make the color and viscosity of the paint uniform.
Unless there are special requirements, the construction environment temperature should be 5 to 38 degrees Celsius, and the relative humidity should not exceed 85%. The paint should be shaken thoroughly before opening the bucket. After opening the barrel, the original paint should be free of crusting, agglomeration, gel, etc., and the sediment should be stirred evenly to make the color and viscosity of the paint uniform.
To adjust the viscosity, special diluents must be used. If a substitution is needed, it must be tested. When applying the first coat of primer, the painting direction should be consistent and the joints should be neat. When painting, the principle of frequent brush strokes should be adopted to prevent the brush from falling off due to too much paint.
After the first coat of paint, a certain time interval should be maintained to prevent the second coat of paint before the first coat, which will cause the paint to wrinkle and reduce the quality.
After the first coat is dry, apply the second coat. The second pass should be in the opposite direction to the first pass so that the film thickness will be even. Intermediate paint should be applied at least 24 hours after the primer is applied.
3. Fire retardant coating:
Ultra-thin fire retardant coatings for outdoor use should be applied by roller coating. Only when the primer thickness reaches
Apply 2 layers of epoxy mica iron oxide intermediate with a film thickness of 80m, and apply 2 layers of fluorocarbon topcoat with a film thickness of 50m. The diluent mixed with the paint should be properly stirred and its working viscosity and consistency should be guaranteed during the painting process. There will be no peeling off or brush marks. The application method and direction are the same as the primer.
Topcoat should be formulated to an exact consistency and should be stirred continuously during application to maintain uniform color.
